TICKET FAQ
*For people who PURCHASED TICKET ONLINE- please bring your PICTURE ID and the PRINT OUT of your purchase. You will NOT be shipped a physical ticket through the mail; just simply print out records from paypal, and bring your picture ID. Present this to the Image Comic Expo staff, and we’ll get you all set for a fantastic comic experience.
*For people who PURCHASED TICKET AT LOCAL STORE- please bring the ticket that was issued at the store. We will get your ticket “punched & processed” quickly and efficiently. Don’t lose the ticket you were issued at the store though as the Image Comic Expo unfortunately does NOT have any additional back-up records for individual sales. This ticket is your final sales receipt.
*For people who PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE IMAGE COMIC EXPO- we most certainly accept walk up ticket sales for our event. We will accept cash, as well as Visa/Mastercard payments.
AT THE REGISTRATION BOOTH, you will check in with the IMAGE COMIC EXPO STAFF. They will check you in, issue you BADGE for admission, along with your Program Guide. And if you’re one of the first 5,000 people through the door, you will get a FREE copy of Walking Dead #94 Variant too!
When the doors open, you can come in and enjoy!
REGISTRATION DESK
The Registration Desk is your first contact point at the Image Comic Expo. Here you will get your badges to start the show, and can have your questions answered throughout the show.
The Registration Desk will be located just outside the MAIN HALL of the Image Comic Expo, at the West Hall of the Oakland Convention Center. You will be greeted by our smiling staff, along with a volunteers. They can point you to to the appropriate lines, getting your badges processed quickly, so you can enjoy the show.
To expedite orders, the Registration Desk opens an hour before the Main Hall each day and runs through the end of the convention.
Hours for Friday, February 24: 2pm-8pm
Hours for Saturday, February 25: 9am-6pm
Hours for Sunday, February 26: 8am-5pm
MVP TICKET INFORMATION

Please bring your Photo ID and the PRINT OUT of the MVP Ticket.
*For people who bought a ticket AT A LOCAL STORE in the Northern California, and then UPGRADED TO MVP ONLINE
Please bring everything you got: PHOTO ID, the store issued TICKET, and the PRINT OUT of the UPGRADE. We will need to check off each aspect with our information.
*Still want to UPGRADE to MVP at the door?
We have a limited number of MVP packages we are making available at the Image Comic Expo. If you are interested, please go straight to the MVP Line at the Registration Desk, and one of our staff members will be able to check you in.

FAQ regarding tickets and admission:
*CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR? Of course you can buy tickets at the door, at the REGISTRATION DESK. We will be able to accept CASH and VISA/MASTERCARD.
(We do recommend ADVANCED TICKETS though- available both online or at your local comic shop)
*HOW MUCH ARE KID’S TICKETS? Children under the age of 12 are FREE with a paid adult. All Children under 12 must be accompanied by the adult at all times. Kids that are OVER the age of 12 qualify as general admission tickets.
*ARE MVP TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR? YES! We will have a limited of MVP Tickets still available the day of the show. You can even get in the MVP line to buy these!
*I ALREADY BOUGHT A TICKET, CAN I UPGRADE TO MVP AT THE SHOW? YES! We will have a limited amount of MVP tickets still available the day of the show. You can even get in the MVP line to upgrade to these.
*I BOUGHT MY TICKET ONLINE-WHEN WILL TICKETS SHIP TO US? Online tickets do NOT physically ship to each recipient. Instead, we gather the data and have everything prepared at the REGISTRATION BOOTH. Bring your ID and print out and we’ll check you in, and give your badge and FREE stuff at that time.
*I BOUGHT MY TICKET AT MY LOCAL COMIC SHOP BUT I LOST IT, or FORGOT IT, or MY DOG ATE IT- The Image Comic Expo staff unfortunately does not have any access to any back-up records of individual ticket sales. You must present the ticket at the Registration Desk in order to get your badge/admission to the show, along with all the other great stuff we’re giving away.
*WHERE WILL THE REGISTRATION BE? T he Registration Booth will be in front of the Main Hall at the Oakland Convention Center. You can’t miss us!
*CAN I PICK OUT MY FREE SCHWAG ITEMS, or EXCHANGE ITEMS IN MY GIFT BAG? All items the Image Comic Expo provides for the fans are considered free BONUS items. Therefore we are not in a position to exchange books, swap, and trade out other items. We’ll do the best we can at pre-selecting books for you all!
*PLEASE NOTE: ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. There are no refunds on any ticket sales or the MVP packages from the Image Comic Expo. Additionally, tickets are non-transferable.
