What is the IMAGE COMIC EXPO?
The Image Comic Expo is the premiere comic con experience of Northern California in 2012. The 3 day event takes place at the Oakland Convention Center February 24-25-26. Celebrating the creative spirit of independence, The Image Comic Expo commemorates the formation of IMAGE COMICS 20 years ago. But more than just looking to the past, the event spotlights the future of the comic market by spotlighting the future of the publisher.
The Image Comic Expo is a fan fest spanning the latest and greatest from the world of comic books. From a show floor packed with over one hundred exhibitors, to an exciting artist alley, and autograph sessions giving fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators, the Image Comic Expo brings the best of popular culture to the Bay Area and Beyond!

Where is the IMAGE COMIC EXPO?

How do I get TICKETS to the event?
Getting a ticket to the 2012 IMAGE COMIC EXPO is simple. You can REGISTER online or you can purchase a ticket at many of local Bay Area comic book stores. Look for more information coming soon of specific Brick & Mortar locations.
I want to bring my Child or Younger Sibling- are there CHILD TICKETS available for the event? Kids 12 and under are FREE if accompanied by a paid adult. All Children must be supervised by this accompanied adult at all times, as neither the Image Comic Expo nor the Oakland Convention Center can be held responsible.
Can I Take Pictures at the Convention?
For the most part, you’re welcome to take still pictures and video at the Image Comic Expo. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, but if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
Will I be on camera?
The Image Comic Expo will attract local, national, and international press. By attending the Image Comic Expo, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera.
Will Guests sign Autographs?
Guests will sign autographs both on Image Comic Expo Autograph Areas and at various booths in the Exhibition Hall. The full schedule, coming a month before our show, will list official signings taking place on the Autograph Stages; booth signing schedules will be posted throughout the Exhibition Hall.
Anything Else?
